Police Evacuate UCSD Buildings

LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Several buildings at UCSD were evacuated Wednesday after school officials said they received a phoned in bomb threat. According to campus police, the threat was made Tuesday night. The San Diego Police Department said several buildings, located south of Gilman Drive and west of Via La Jolla, were involved in the precautionary evacuation. Officers are conducing a room-to-room search. Nothing suspicious has been found, according to police.
Campus police told NBC 7/39 four buildings linked to the School of Medicine were involved in the evacuation.
