I was lurking on that thread almost all night, it was remarkable and the quality of the research was astounding. I was mad as a hornet at C-BS and LOL at the same time.

I finally went to bed in the wee hours of the morning with a smile on my face and malice in my heart. It is disgusting what CBS tried to do that night and something I will never forget.

Nor will I. I have no trust for the MSM whatsoever. It wasn't enough that CBS, through Walter Cronkite had effectively lost a war, and brought down a president, they needed to install "their own" president. It was, in effect, an attempt at a coup by the media. A non-violent coup, but a coup, nonetheless.

For me, the self destruction of the MSM had begun years ago (going back into the 1970s, really) ... but started crystallizing with ABC News' smear job on the Food Lion supermarket chain ... then NBC News' smear job on GMC pickup trucks. There were other things along the way, but not really so glaringly obvious and on a national scale. Dan Rather was the final straw.

I now assume that they're lying, no matter what they say, or who they say it about.
