Why are the Wheels Coming Off the Clinton Bandwagon?
FoxNews ^ | Undated | Dick Morris and Eileen McGann

Posted on 12/14/2007 6:48:38 PM PST by Aristotelian

In Iowa and New Hampshire — the first two tests for the presidential nominating process — Hillary Clinton is faltering badly.

(snip)

The conclusion is obvious: neither Hillary nor her staff know how to campaign. After the Clinton re-election in 1996, they have never been tested in a competitive race. When Giuliani dropped out of the New York State Senate race and the young Congressman Rick Lazio had to enter at the last minute to try to stop Hillary’s bid, the conclusion was pre-ordained. Hillary’s re-election was a cakewalk against a totally under funded opponent. She doesn’t know how to win.

Hillary’s experience has been limited to the insider back biting of Washington where she is an expert at using her secret police — a small army of private detectives — to unearth negatives about her or Bill’s opponents. (Even former U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young recently admitted that Hillary ran the effort to discredit women who might come forward and accuse Clinton of misconduct.) But, when it comes to campaigning, advertising and winning an election, these folks and this candidate don’t have a clue.

Methinks Hillary's dark side may soon make an appearance.

Hasn’t Dick Morris said recently that Hillary was going to win the Presidency?

Toe suckers never seem to know which way is up.

The queen’s subjects (msm) are revolting against the iron ‘cigar’ that has kept them in lockstep. slick willy’s role has been diminished to the point that she is just ‘that guy’s wife’.

Of course we are.

The question is, will that prevent them from successfully rigging the election?

Count on lots of absentee and overseas votes. Hillary probably wants a lot of Americans overseas at least until the election.

I wonder how many people The Hildabeaste has working on her campaign? And I wonder what they think of this article?

It appears this campaign’s biggest problem is figuring out how to get history to repeat itself. But that won’t happen because we have a completely different candidate and the media has completely changed. I’m sure The Hildabeaste’s gurus know this. So, maybe it matter of they can’t adapt?

I hope you’re right and the dark side shows itself soon.

Looks like an employment advertisement to me.

Morris is essentially saying: Hire me because I know how to win. I did it for your hubby, give me big bucks and you too can be president.

I thought that too. What will Morris say if her campaign tanks early? I am pretty sure he hates Hillary.

Where did this idea come from that if the Slickster campaigned for you, you were a sure winner? The last guy who Shlick campaigned for out here in CA, was Phil Angelides!

Toe suckers never seem to know which way is up.

While Dickie would take great delight in seeing the Hildebeest brought down (she screwed him out of his job, in his opinion), he knows he needs to prod the process along by getting the right wing (and as much of the mushy middle as possible) incensed at the possibility of her re-entry into the White House to keep that from happening.

Hillary is a captivating idea. The first woman to run for president, she is the living reminder of the better economic times and international peace of the Clinton administration.

Think about this. Better economic times? International peace? The first World Trade Center bombing, Kenya and Nairobi, the USS Cole. It has been several years since I read anything by Dick Morris. I'm going back to that now.

Ole bj has popularity nationally with the base. The dem base is generally ill informed and or mentally deficient enough to feel rejected by his lack of presence I guess. Maybe he could work on another sex scandal. That would probably boost her favorability by ten points.
