There he was again on the world stage--in Oslo this time--celebrating his Nobel Peace Prize with singer Melissa Etheridge and actress Uma Thurman, the Hollywood hottie who called him "adorable" and said listening to him talk was "like watching a beautiful racehorse run." But Al Gore isn't running. Which raises the question: maybe Gore's gotten a little too adorable--too comfortable in his role as a globe-trotting guru. What about his own damn country? Why isn't Al Gore--Nobel laureate and enviro rock star, embodiment of the alternative history that never was, winner of the largest popular-vote total in U.S. presidential history (at the time) --seeking the job that many people still think should have been his in 2000? Yes, we've all heard that Gore's reached a kind of peace within himself, and what fire that is left in his belly is guttering out. But shouldn't this Hamlet of the Hustings be tormented with a little of the melancholy Dane's anguished ambition, telling himself: "The time is out of joint; O cursed spite, that ever I was born to set it right?"
Gore is obviously not without ambition to set things right: he appears to want to save the entire planet single-handedly. "Without realizing it, we have begun to wage war on the earth itself," he said in his Nobel acceptance speech. "It is time to make peace with the planet." After receiving his prize, Gore flew onto Bali, where the U.S. government this week succeeded in single-handedly blocking a proposal that called on industrialized nations to cut greenhouse-gas emissions by 25 percent to 40 percent by 2020. The Bush administration's lonely stand at the two-week-long meeting of nearly 190 nations--convened to start talks on a successor treaty to the Kyoto Protocol, which expires in 2012--

Gore would have had the friggin’ presidency if he would have asked Clinton to resign. ROFL
Mr Hirsch needs a cigarette and a moist towlette after that slathering
1. He’s an inept idiot
2. He’s not about to walk away from his potential multi billion $$$ BS global warming scam
Who thinks Gore is messianic enough to try again? I’m beginning to. What better place to sit down and save the world?
It would take, at this point, some unusual situation in the Democrat race. No clear winner up to the convention, maybe.
But I think he’s feeling temptation.
Why would this GRIFTER give up his meal ticket of Global Warming? There’s lots more money to be made fooling some of the people some of the time.
Just ask P.T. Barnum. ;)
He wants to be King of France
He’s a loser.
Looks like Michael Moore up.
But, if you can get in front of cameras and pimp your curvaceous wares, Suddenly, you can become the master pimp - and all are believers!
Maybe if viewed from the backside.
1. He’s making too much money being the Global Warming God.
2. He’d have to defend his flawed Global Warming religion and he can’t.
Gore is riding the gravy train and there is only downside in mounting another Presidential run. He’s got more money now than Bill and Hillary and to him, that’s the best revenge.
Even the leftie traitor MSM/DBM wouldn't allow a refusal to debate.
Actually, he’d be a fool to run. His best bet is to stand above the fray and look noble while he saves the planet. His only chance would be if hillary crashes and burns, in which case he might get drafted as the best (!) alternative to her.
If he challenged her now, however, she’d wipe the floor with him. So he’s better off doing nothing, even if he wants the job desperately.
After all, his daddy did promise him he’d be president one day. He has plenty of money, so he could afford to do it if he had a mind to. But for now, his best plan is to wait.
Because he's a fat old Queen who looks like Gloria Swanson?
>> Actually, hed be a fool to run.
And isn’t he?
He’s not running because he thought Hillary could beat him?
Quick show of hands:
A. Is Algore the mastermind of the carbon credits scam...?
B. Or is Algore merely the dupe that others are using to front the operation?
Given a low opinion of Algore's IQ, I'm inclined toward option B.
How say y'all...???
The ultra-rich propagandist (with his private jets, limousine luggage and $1200 per month heating/cooling bills) would have to debate global warming. He can't do it. After all, as he's already proclaimed, "The debate on global warming is over!" He would crumble under questioning about the hoax.
Time to rename Altoast 2000, Altoast2008. Or Altoast2012. Or Altoast2016.
