When murders are common and unremarkable (low-level gang thug kills rival gang thug), it's not a particularly interesting story and the media usually gives it short mention. ..as should be the case.

When innocent people are murdered in a most brutal and unusual fashion it is a story. ....but to the MSM it's only a story if the perps and victims fit in to their PC template and advance their PC agenda. This story didn't, obviously. ...which is the point of the post.
