It has been a frustrating year for the Democrat-controlled Congress.

They came to power on an anti-war ticket but have so far failed to change the course in Iraq or bring American troops home.

Despite holding the purse strings, attempts to cut funding for the conflict have been met with the President's veto and an inability to raise enough votes to overturn it.

40 times the Dumocrats introduced Iraq surrender bills and 40 times, it gets shot down.

Gotta love Pelosi and Reid answer to their masters at Move On.

“Congress voted at the last minute to delay the tax for a year, but the Treasury now stands to lose some $50 billion because they could not agree on how to offset the shortfall.”

I hate this crap.

The Treasury was never supposed to get that $50 billion and never got it before. So how can you have a loss for something you never had???

Total BS. Don’t these “journalist” have even half a brain?

“...failed to change the course in Iraq...”

Yes, they were eager for defeat, but could not impose it.

The real irony of articles in this meme is that the Dems are actually accomplishing one of the two major things they campaigned on in 2006.

They are controlling spending.
Controlling corruption? ....well one of two ain’t bad.

Lack of persuation, most in Congress know Democrats are wrong.

“They came to power on an anti-war ticket..”
As long as the dopes in the ratmedia keep saying this, even in a cockney accent, the rat will be unable to see the truth and a lied to rat is easier to beat. For you schmucks from DU that are reading this, the FACT that the congress is now in your hands can not be traced to an anti sentiment in America. It CAN be traced to an anti losing sentiment, but then again if you read DU you can’t understand this anyway.

According to the DemocRATS all income belongs to the government. They were scheduled to receive $50 billion more and the Republicans and President Bush made them lose it. In their twisted sense of Justice, the Republicans failed to pay for the $50 billion theft.

You are right they are NUTS!

Nancy Pelosi babbles about retreat. She has no clue the American people don't like defeat... period!

Good. Only if people understand how badly the democrats have lead, as well as their weakness to bow to anti-war minority groups.
