Starting on Page 26 of this report, Loftus describes the International Intellegence Summit requesting the tapes and documents be posted on a public website so volunteers could help with translation and analysis and its demise under the guise of revealing too much accurate nuclear information.

John Negroponte looks especially bad.

When he was DNI chief, Negropante never wanted the Iraqi documents to be posted on the internet, he was forced to do so by President Bush and some Republican congressmen. Yes Negropante made a very bad decision by shutting down the Iraqi documents website but this is expected from a State Department carrier official.
