Barber believes most people do not realize that all of the major benefits being sought by homosexual "couples" are already available through relatively simple means, such as power of attorney and rights of inheritance. However, the goal of the militant homosexual movement isn't about "equal rights" for homosexuals, it's about destroying the institution of marriage for the rest of us.

Senators Gordon Smith (R-Oregon) and Joe Lieberman (I-Connecticut) have introduced a bill that will extend domestic partner benefits to homosexual federal employees. And it will also serve as a wonderful precursor for a homesexual partner to have a legal actionable grounds for going after a federal pension.
I'm thinking fag congressmen better watch their a$$es on this one.

Yes, the goal is to destroy marriage. And that will have enormously negative consequences for marriage. What is next? Plural marriage, cross-species marriage, incestuous marriage? Like stupid Brad Pitt said, he wants everyone to be able to marriage anyone - perhaps even anything.
One needs to only look at the so-called Soviet Russian Experiment of the late 1930s and early 1940s to realize the problems for everyone.
