Rush Limbaugh’s detractors never learn. They’ve tried everything to come between Rush and his more than 20 million listeners, intending to destroy his appeal and impact. But it’s a hopeless, almost laughable endeavor. They led boycotts against his advertisers -- yet his show continues to generate more revenue than any other on radio. They pressured his affiliates to drop his program, but he’s still heard on more than 600 stations -- more than any other talk host. They tried to keep him off Armed Forces Radio, of course, but he has the most popular program on the military’s radio network.

Just a few corrections about Levin's comments on the Frost matter: Graeme was their son, not daughter, and while tuition (for the 2 kids injured in the accident) at Park school was $40,000, the family claimed they received financial aide which dropped the tuition cost to $500 per child. It later came out that all 4 of their kids attended Park (Prior to the accident)

The tuition matter is seized on by many on the left to discredit the entire Graeme Frost report but they ignore:

That Mr. Frost claimed he could not get insurance through work when in fact he was self employed.

That Mr. Frost purchased a commercial building for 160,000 in 1999 about the time he later claimed he could no longer afford health insurance. He still owns the commercial property today.

That Mr. Frost has tenants at his commercial building. (One of which, a friend of ten years, claimed it was his understanding that the grandparents paid for the pricey tuition at Park School. This leads to the still unanswered question of when the financial aide began.)

The family refused a request by the liberal Baltimore Sun to release their tax records.

The current market value of their improved 3,040 SF home is unknown but a nearby home (also an end unit), sold for $485,000 this past March and it was only 2,060 SF. Liberals also love to say the Frosts paid only 55,000 for their home in a bad neighborhood, or instead cite city tax assessments of 260k which are much lower than market value. The point was not to suggest they should sell their home but to point out the conditions those currently on SCHIP are living in. One wonders if the remodeled Pagoda

at the 150 acre Patterson Park a block away is visible from one of the Frosts 2 rooftop decks.

Michelle Malkin later added that the Frosts own a Volvo SUV, a Chevy Suburban and a Ford F-250.

The point of all of this was not to say the Frosts did not qualify for Maryland SCHIP program, they did... (the state does not factor in assets, only income)...the point was to look at what type of family is ALREADY covered by SCHIP so we can discuss whether it needs to be EXPANDED to families with even more income and assets than the Frosts.

Good pick, Rush really is the leader of conservatism at this time, and the odds are he’ll continue to be until 2012 or 2016 at the very least.

No problem. You know, I never quite understood the glee of libs in pointing out he only paid 55k for the property years ago. Its like I point and say “Hey, he owns Google stock at $400” and they reply “You have your facts wrong, he only paid $55 dollars for it years ago” Do they just not get it?
