Barack Obamas campaign has dismissed as not believable a prominent Hillary Rodham Clinton backers tortured explanation for seeming to inject Obamas youthful drug use into the 2008 presidential campaign, and called it troubling that Clinton has not done more to distance herself from the remark.
Former President Bill Clinton was drawn into the controversy on Monday in appearances on black radio talk shows. He told one host, Roland Martin, that impolitic remarks by supporters sometimes just happen in politics and said, I think it's important not to overreact to them.
Obama has admitted in his memoir to using drugs as a young man, and Hillary Clinton has said personal attacks using that information are off-limits. Except they keep coming, in what are now at least three direct or indirect drug references from top Clinton surrogates in recent weeks.
It happened again Sunday, at a Clinton campaign event before the senator went onstage.
Robert L. Johnson a prominent businessman who founded Black Entertainment Television and is a top fundraiser, or Hillraiser, for the Clinton campaign was giving a lengthy introduction of Clinton at a campaign town hall in Columbia, S.C., when he launched into a defense of the senator and President Bill Clinton for remarks that have drawn criticism in the black community.
Johnson said the Clintons have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues when Barack Obama was doin something in the neighborhood that I won't say what he was doin, but he said it in his book.
The Clinton campaign later put out statement in which Johnson claimed he was referring not to drug use but to community organizing.

I wish he’d just hit back with some of Roger Clinton’s chestnuts, like “He had a nose like a Hoover”
"So let me get this straight. You will give me $5000 to mention Obama's drug use. What kind of man do you think I am? I'll tell you what kind of man I am. I'm a $10,000 man"
Why is there a special place in Hell for Lyndon Johnson?
It’s not the drugs, it’s the white-hating racism, Islamism, and Marxism that bothers me.
‘The Clinton campaign later put out statement in which Johnson claimed he was referring not to drug use but to community organizing.’
When Obama begins responding ‘in kind’ this is going to be fun to watch.
OK, Hillary Clinton has her faults, but what about Mr. Obama?
"As I proudly marched with Dr Martin Luther King across that bridge..."
"No you didn't. You didn't!"
"What I meant to say was how moved I was as I read about Dr King marching across that bridge..."
"Yeah, you were moved as you sat in your gated dorm at Wellesley and watched it on TV."
"I was so moved that I created a papier-mache statue of the injustice. At least I wasn't out taking drugs like..."
"OK, ok, there you go again. You done done it again!"
To segregate him from the general population, all those who were condemned to hell for anti-societal behaviors that stem directly from his Great Society programs.
His politics aside, I believe he’s a decent man.
why do Rats always have a "book" published before they run for any office? Seems all democrats have a book or two.
What was Barack Osama really doing in the neighborhood during his youthful days while Bill Clinton was making his pilgrimage to Stalin's tomb? (a requirement that must be completed by all RAT communists)
Given the age difference, Barack Osama would have been attending the Madrasa in Malaysia at the time, memorizing the koran and searing that life long vow to practice Jihad (the most important pillar of Islam)on his heart; learning the art of lying; a most important art used by Mohammad to gain the trust of his enemies. (which he no doubt found also comes in very handy in American democrat politics)
After completion of Madrasa school, Barack moved back to the USA to "blend" back into American society, which no doubt included the usual indulgences of booze and drugs, and of course political and racial activism. Considering the views of his wife and the "church" he is now a member of, it isn't hard to figure out what his real thoughts are on racial issues, which he dare not say in public or his book, just as he dare not reveal what his true religious allegiance is. His "book", (like all books written by RATS) is everything he isn't, but it's what he thinks Americans want him to be.
I’m waiting for the Clinton’s to finally come out and flat out state what they’ve been hinting at for the entire campaign:
“Hey voters, think back to what happened the LAST time you elected an inexperienced Democrat who admitted to previous drug use!”
Why is Obama’s candor about drug use “off limits”? It’s not speculation. Obama wrote it himself.
