South Carolina has one of the highest proportion of military retirees in the country, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re heavily backing McCain due to his support of the Iraq war, his Vietnam service, and his stint in the Hanoi Hilton. The only way Fred catches him is if he takes the gloves off and goes after McQueeg’s liberal positions on amnesty and “climate change”.

There's also a very high proportion of military families (with a member in active service). This military family will be voting for Fred.

Mitt will take care of that lead today hopefully! If McCain loses it is over for him. That is all we have to do and the Retirees don’t matter. Go Mitt in MI! Go FRed in SC!
