Southerners like...Bill Clinton??? :P /jk
Good stuff tonight as usual, 2DV. I just read on Rasmussen that Fred is seeming to get some traction in SC.

And hopefully he has the values of conservatives who aren’t Southerners, too.

I've mused in private Mitty-moments that Fred get's the nomination, and picks Joe Lieberman for VP.
It would gladden my heart to have him presiding over the senate. Payback time.
Are he and Fred friendly?
Do you think it's a winning ticket?
Am I nuts?
Is my impression of Leiberman as a man of good character...as I believe Fred is...a grave misjudgement?

If we’re looking at a “National Unity” ticket, how about Zell Miller or someone of that ilk, although Lieberman would be an ironic choice.

If those damn Yankees could get over that “fire in the belly” nonsense and actually listen to what the man has to say I think they’d be pleasantly surprised...;)

Where is Zell?
Leiberman is an Independent. Right?
He's a Northron.
He's kinda conservative,
He knows the senate.
He's reasonable.
He owes his Dem backstabbing buddies.
A lot of more conservative Dems might cross-over.
He's a fighter. I was impressed by his CT victory. Like Agincourt.
Idunno...I just like where he's stood on importasnt issues that I've noted...like Iraq. Just a gut feeling...that he's the one.

how about Zell Miller or someone of that ilk I've been thinking that very same thing. Zell would be awesome.
My other picks for VP:
Duncan Hunter
Sarah Palin
JC Watts
Mitt Romney
Congressman John Kline
Michael Steele
If Bobby Jindal hadn't just started his first term as LA gov he'd be awesome too.

What’a strange was there was talk in this household about Hillary and McCain having such a deal...
Then the idea was nixed because it would likely incite open revolt...LOL
I do think there is a plan with McCain/Lieberman...
*If* Bloomberg jumps in the race trying to splot the vote to ensure Hillary gets in ala Ross Perot, I think McCain, should he lose the nomination, would run as an independant with Lieberman making it a 4 way race and deluting the Democrat ticket as well...
