I’m gonna take you seriously and try and answer.
They worked for a while, but they were “temporary” and everybody knows that they won’t be extended by a Democrat Legislature and President when they expire. Therefore, taxes are going up very soon, and this is what happens when businesses know that for a fact.

Therefore, taxes are going up very soon, and this is what happens when businesses know that for a fact. Yep. In fact, I'm going to make a prediction: If the economy tanks, but the GOP nominates Romney or Giuliani and they win, the recession will end shortly after election Day, because the business community will know that there's a strong chance the tax cuts will be made permanent when they come up for review in 2010.
