I want people disarmed Now isn't that just special?
I have fixed the channel selector on my TV to skip MSNBC when I'm surfing. The sight and sound of any of the left wing whacko personalities which are usually featured turn my stomach and often enrage me.

They’re just dumb. They don’t think. They feel.
A law abiding citizen with a gun (and some regular practice at the range) versus a criminal with a gun. I am so okay with that.

Difference between liberals and conservatives on 2nd Amendment:
Matthews: “I want people disarmed.”
Me: “I want criminals disarmed.”

Just like he wants us disarmed, I want dishonest liberals off the airwaves. They should rename his show and call it sleaze-ball.

If anybody missed this from a previous thread about the 2nd A., note that John Bingham, the main author of Sec. 1 of the 14th A., included the 2nd A. when he referenced the first eight amendments as examples of constitutional statutes containing privileges and immunities that the 14th A. made mandatory for the states to respect. So there is no doubt in my mind that the 2nd A. now protects the personal right to keep and bear arms from both the federal and state governments as much as any other constitutional privilege and immunity protects other personal rights. See the 2nd A. in the middle column of the following page from the Congressional Globe, a precursor to the Congressional Record.

If Mr. Matthews doesn't like our 2nd A. protections then he can lead the people to exercise their Article V power to amend the Constitution to repeal the 2nd Amendment.
Also, despite our 2nd A. protections, the Swiss have essentially made fools out of the USA, in my opinion, by successfully integrating firearms management into their culture, effectively reducing crime.
