I met Pres. Hinckley in Florida in the mid 60’s - but I knew Pres. Packer, having met him the first day he took over as Pres. of the New England Mission in the 60’s = and many opportunities to interact with him during those years. He is a man of deep faith, humility and compassion.
It will be Monson, if I remember my succession correctly. Bro. Monson is the senior member of the twelve, so he is next in line.
Doesn’t matter to me though, they’re both fine and honorable men.
