McCain-Thompson
may be the best we can salvage at this point.

May as well give us some other options:
E) McCain / a crack psychotherapist with a bagful of sedatives
F) McCain / anyone McCain is seriously allergic to
G) John Bolton / pit bull
H) Tom Delay / anyone the press really hates
I) Any two politically incorrect people
J) None of the above

D only. In fact, Romney would be very smart to get with Thompson and convince him to come on board so that the Romney/Thompson ads could start running prior to Super Tuesday.

You signed up just this month and think your opinion is so important you have to post vanities? How did we survive without you?

I would say D and to add if McLame gets the nomination I will be sitting this one out. There is now way in hell I can vote for him.
To: Long Island Pete
I will vote for McCain if I have to (which I obviously will have to), but I draw the line on having to vote for Huck.
No dem president, period.

First, tell me why you joined FR to post a meaningless vanity thread, and then maybe Ill tell you my opinion. I guessing Et_Tu_Brute is the alter-ego of an existing member who is too embarrassed to post it under his/her own screen name

I would vote for Romney/Thompson and that would be a balanced ticket in many ways.
I am hoping McCain's own campaign finance reform does him in (hard to take private money at this point).
And I'm counting that Rudy's poor judgement has remained consistent and that he was wrong when he said the winner in Florida would be the nominee. I think he is just endorsing McCain because he believes that. If Romney had won he would be endorsing Romney.

A & B are OUT. C and D are workable, D being the best of those 4 choices.
I would like to see Romney step up with Fred in advance of Tuesday as his potential VP candidate, it would make me feel a hell of a lot better about voting for him, instead of just against McCain.

Ronald Reagan in his present state would be better than any of the current Rinos.
