Read this last week about McPain sending out associates to feel out the Dems to see if they would accept him switching to their Party sometime in 2001. I wish I could remember where that was posted to provide a link, but it was a reliable source as I recall.

Don’t know about becoming a democrat, but I remember in 2000 after it became obvious that Bush would get the nomination, it was common knowledge that McCain seriously considered running 3rd party to deny Bush the presidency.

I’m too old to hold my breath until I turn purple and I’m too chicken to shoot myself in the foot. My guy fell by the wayside awhile back. The three clowns left all look the same to me. But, come November I’m voting. And I’m voting for the dude with the (R) next to his name.
