On the Spot (CNSNews.com) - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said the possibility of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) becoming president "sends a cold chill down my spine."

Reid made his remarks Tuesday outside the Senate chambers when a reporter asked him about McCain, who is running for the Republican Party nomination for president.

Pulling out his wallet and removing a white piece of paper, Reid told the reporter: "All I have to say about that is this. I have it right here, and you can put it in your little recording devices."

Then, reading aloud, and quoting Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) from an interview last Friday, Reid said: "The thought of him [McCain] being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper, and he worries me."

You have to assume that Reid has a spine, first.

This is unfortunate...McCain worries me, too. I don’t like what I’m seeing with the primaries.

Thad got it right. If that quote is used against McCain in the election it will hopefully help keep him out of the White House.

"He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper, and he worries me."

Take out the 'he' part and you could easily be describing Hillary.

Me also. Senator Cochran sees the threat. Too bad, the remainder of the RINO Socialist Party does not. The Republic is going to pay a deadly cost for electing Queen Hillary, Imam Osama Obama, or McIdiot McScream.

Cochran and I feel the same way.

Some words are required to be said aloud. This is one of those times.

WOW! They are pulling every trick they can to get us to believe McCain is conservative.

Got news for them, it won’t work on me.

If Hillary loses, how much would it take for her to give ole Harry the boot and assume the duties as Majority Leader?

And so it begins. As foretold, after carrying McCain to the Republican nomination, the Liberal Media Establishment beings his destruction

The GOP is going to be lucky if they win 10 states this year.

Actually, McCain scares me, too. I find him far too liberal and too cozy with too many Democrat liberals. He does not work for the small business person and is one of the few who bucked the Bush tax cuts, but somehow we’re supposed to believe he supports the GOP core. Hell, he almost switched parties a few years ago. His position is NOT good news for the GOP.
