Clinton is Outfunded if not Outmatched, While McCain Faces Critics
ABC News ^ | February 7, 2008 | RICK KLEIN with MIKE ELMORE

It took until a day after Super Tuesday, as it happened, for the tsunami to strike: Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is now the underdog in the Democratic presidential fight -- and that is very much not by design (Mark Penn's spin notwithstanding).

Feb. 5 -- the day that was once expected to seal the nomination for the Candidate Formerly Known as "Inevitable" -- was at best a duel to a draw, at worst the beginning of an erosion of Clinton's carefully constructed delegate lead.

Feb. 6 brought the stunning news that the Clinton campaign is essentially broke, running on a $5 million loan from the candidate herself, with senior staff foregoing paychecks and the candidate pleading with her opponent to accept five more debates (do we really need more?) over the next four weeks.

"Under Dog" is just another word for victim - Clinton's play both parts very well.....they are lower than a snake's belly - their ill gotten gains are drying up....don't give them another chance to re-line their pockets at the expense of the nation.

yep, where the heck is Bill? He took over the campaign in South Carolina. Where has he been since? Maybe he’s lying low since he seems to hurt Hillary more than help her sometimes? Or it throws Hill’s campaign off message to have to deal with him?

she’s pleading for many more debates. How times have changed. Hillary has tried to have fewer debates, and avoided shows like “Meet The Press” because she didn’t want to deal with them. Now all of a sudden she wants debates and wants to be on news shows.

Here it comes, as predicted!

The MSM wants conservatives to stay out of the race...don’t support McCain.

At this point, I agree with them. Let McCain come to us.

Hey, John! You’re friends in the MSM are leaving you! They’re going to take those Independents with them!

We’re all you got, Buckwheat.

"Now all of a sudden she wants debates and wants to be on news shows."

She's getting desperate..

Hope she appears everywhere. The more people that see & hear her - the more they hate her.

Hillary had to loan her campaign $5Million and put everyone on her campaign on "volunteer" status as she is no longer paying them.

Which caused someone in the media to ask if they were not getting paid any longer, were they at least getting health-care coverage?

Hillary, as expected, dodged the question.

McVain vs. Hitlery. What a great argument for people (aside from conservatives) not to want to vote in Nov 2008!

If those two can’t suppress voters and kill the excitement for the future of America, I can’t think of two candidates who would.

Go Non-Voters!!!!!
