Most liberals I know have a real problem with authority.
Unless it is LIBERAL authority. They are Hitler, Stalin wannabees. I once hear that moron Ed Asner, say that Stalin was “misunderstood.” I guess the deaths of 20 million Russians under him was a “misunderstanding,” according to the Left.
Nowadays also a complete silence about the Gulag, athough Stalin killed more people than Hitler. That’s because American troops didn’t liberate one of their camps and show the world what happened.
In any case, imagine if D-Day had failed and Hitler had also been able to hold the line in the East. Not until we gor the A-bomb would we have forced Hitler to come to terms. Probably we would NOT have used it since our soldiers would not have been faced with horrific casualties, as we wouldn’t have tried another invasion. A Greater Germany would have survived the war and what happened to the Jews et al. would have become a state secret. Very different history.
