“The world, including the U.S.A. is not ready, willing, or able to fight Muslims. Were they, the Muslims would be under attack in every corner of the earth. (as Jorge Bush promised)”

I agree to an extent with your first point, however, at least GWB has begun to take action. We can rest assured, the democrats would not have, and will not if they take the WH.

As for the second point, do you know that they are not? The President told us in September 2001, there will be actions we see, there will be actions we will not see, actions in the shadows. Not speaking from experience, but gleaning information from many sources, it seems the USA has personnel all over the world, conducting clandestine and covert actions, as GWB said we would. That’s taking the fight to them as I see it.

In my view, McCain will continue and strenghten these efforts, both democrats are on record as saying they will pull back, ceding hard-won gains in Iraq to the jihadis, ultimately endangering all of us. That’s my choice, it’s stark, and imperfect, as is life. I certainly am not “pimping”.

“.....at least GWB has begun to take action....”

President Bush is the first world leader to stand up to and push back the Muslim invading hoards since the Crusades tried to reclaim lands taken by the sword way back when.

I’ve read a bit about this topic recently- and I keep looking for a bit of clarity, sense or reason from the AB of Canterbury. This article pretty well shows- there is none to be found.

It's time for Rowan Williams to step down. Statements such as this might be acceptable from other Anglican prelates, but not from the primate of England. Those who care about the Anglican communion and a future free from the slavery that is Islam should call for his immediate resignation.

I grew up in the Episcopal Church. To watch the direction it’s going in is heartbreaking to me- it’s like watching my home be torn down and seeing an architectural nightmare built on the same spot.

Yeah it sounds kinda crazy.

Another one they have is where you take out a mortgage, and your bank pays off the seller as usual. The sum of your mortgage payments equals the principal, so there is no interest over the life of the loan, but the bank charges you rent every month to live in the house that you don’t own until the loan is paid in full.

Fair enough ... I withdraw the term "pimping".

As far as fear of the Dims not pursuing the Muzzies, they can get out and stick their heads in the sand like the rest of the world.

I feel confident in this ...

No matter what party gets in, the bottom line is ... should any of the "leaders" allow the country to economically founder there will be an uprising in the U.S.A. the likes of which few have ever believed possible.

Picture no fuel ... no food in the stores ... no employment.

Should Congress keep hallucinating about global warming, tax and spending ... our energy dependence ... illegal invasion ... homosexual rights ... baseball ... hate crimes ... printing money to provide payoffs to people, who because of Congresses own policies, got loans they could not afford, and every other inane subject under the sun, they will cause us to go bankrupt.

Whatever party is in power must do everything in their power to avert this, at their own peril.

The "war" America needs to fight, first and foremost, is the war for her survival internally.

McCain will not do that.

No McCain.

With all that, you are preaching to the choir. I concur that we in the USA are in a fight for survival against forces within, as you lay out, and without. Primarily I agree and see the democrat party - aided and abetted by the so-called “MSM” - as the chief danger in the sense of turning America into a dependent nanny-state through its immoral, un-American policies. This dependency saps our will and makes it difficult to impossible to prosecute a long war. The MSM compounds that by obsessing over casualties and blameplacing in the name of political advantage for its client - the democrat party. However, we don’t - at least I hope - have to worry about democrats detonating a nuclear device in NYC, as we have to with the jihadis.

Merry Old England is a lost cause. Within the next generation, they will have whole enclaves in England living under Sharia Law. We Americans need to be very careful we don’t go down the same path in heavily Moslim communities.

There is no doubt that we are together, more than apart.

Should we have had the ability to speak one on one in person, I am certain of that.

I will tell you that my current feelings with McCain may change, over these next months, to the point I will do what I have been doing for low these many years. Holding my proverbial nose and voting for him.

It will, however, take much self counseling, and a lessening of that "is that all there is" attitude that has swept over me.

In any case, I wish us well.

Keep up the good fight.

Regards

Same to you. Despite our differences, we do have many commonalities.

Take care - stay safe.

A house divided surely shall fall.

Speaking of Canterbury Tales, has anyone seen Iowahawk's latest blog entry about ye olde Bishop Rowan? I clicked it yesterday and managed just now to get up off the floor. This one has gone viral all over the email rounds.

I thought the Queen was the defender of the faith. If that is correct, why isn’t this twit in jail or whatever...

That Tale was pretty hilarious, and would have earned any of us an A in 9th grade lit class. Do the the kids still have to read that?
