That is my sole basis for supporting him. Besides the view espoused by my tagline about the democrat party. My view is McCain is preferable - with all his shortcomings - to any democrat on that basis alone. Without national security, the rest does not matter, McCain/Feingold ... McCain/Kennedy ... McCain Lieberman.

Fighting in Afghanistan, and Iraq, while leaving them (Muzzies) to invade, and prosper in the rest of the world, does not a war make.
As far as McCains ability to do anything resembling protecting our nation from the enemies within, (our greatest problem BTW) or out of America, is just wishful thinking.
