Clinton Team Seeks to Calm Turmoil

MCALLEN, Texas -- With Spanish music blaring, Sen. Hillary Clinton campaigned across South Texas yesterday with a more populist message, as her new campaign manager sought to reshape a campaign that has lost eight straight primaries in a week.

Maggie Williams, a confidante of Mrs. Clinton from when she was first lady, has moved to assert her control following the departure last weekend of former campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle. Ms. Williams is running a daily conference on what ads to put up and expanding the inner circle with advisers from the old Clinton White House.

See more about key staffers and how they fit into the Clinton campaign. But the campaign has something of a shellshocked feel, as staffers privately chew over a blowup last week where internal frictions flared into the open. Clinton campaign operatives say it happened as top Clinton advisers gathered in Arlington, Va., campaign headquarters to preview a TV commercial. "Your ad doesn't work," strategist Mark Penn yelled at ad-maker Mandy Grunwald. "The execution is all wrong," he said, according to the operatives.

"Oh, it's always the ad, never the message," Ms. Grunwald fired back, say the

Ms. Solis Doyle recently returned home after two months on the road to find a family accustomed to her absence, she told colleagues. When her 6-year-old son cried out one night recently, he rebuffed his mom, saying, "I want Daddy." Ms. Solis Doyle flew out of the room in tears and told her husband: "Joey doesn't want me. S- this campaign, I'm quitting."

Patti, maybe you should have though about your kids before you decided to work for an abortionist candidate!

Does anybody have any recent poll numbers for Ohio and/or Texas? I think Obama needs to win at 1 out of 2 to pull away. In Texas, if he lost then he needs to keep the numbers close and don’t let Hellary win by a blow-out margin.

I expect he was frightened after seeing pictures of mommy with a witch.

probably best she gets out now. Because, if the campaign succeeded, then Solis-Doyle would be out there for the whole general election campaign working 18 hour days, and for what? Then, if Hillary was elected president, then Patti gets offered a job in the White House, with similar workaholic hours. It would never end for her. Best to be with her small children and family.

On Feb 6 no one knew what to do. “It will be over Feb 5.” she told George Setonallofus before Iowa. Now it is all about Texas and Ohio but she has just opened offices there. And wins will not be enough to over come his delegate lead. She is toast but she could care less. It is now win at all cost so look for the mud slinging to intensify.

This piece shows the Daley machine , Moveon.org,and Soros Obama backers have control over a large portion of the media .
They have been peddling a dozen negative Clinton stories a day . Have you noticed that any screw up by Obama such as the crazy Global tax idea are not even mentioned by his
fellow socialists !
The old media wants this radical in office since he will shut down the new media and talk radio and give them back there power over the masses.

This article needs to be translated into Spanish and put in every Spanish newspaper and media outlet in Texas. The Clinton campaign needs the stake driven through the place where there is ordinarily a heart.

Isn’t Maggie Williams the one who cleaned up the Vince Foster office and removed files? Is something planned for someone else?

Hillary would have to win by a 25 to 30 point margin in the largest three states (Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania) to overtake Obama. It cannot happen by normal election methods.

It's about three weeks until Texas and Ohio primaries so any poll numbers are meaningless.

The trend is toward osamaobama, but when you are in a death struggle with the mother of the devil, nothing is too low down, slimey, filthy, underhanded, evil, untrue, {I could go on for pages} for the bitch and her lewinsky boy to pull to denigrate osamaobama.

I want to see her with a stake through her heart cavity, garlic in her mouth and a burnt corpse floating on an iceberg before I'll believe she's dead.

What a crock! She should have been happy to see that her kid was happy having daddy around when she wasn't there. What a compliment to him and reassurance to her, after all isn't this what working mom's want? More daddy participation in the home? Let's see, should I say, bonding?

Bonding : the formation of a close relationship
