I think that most Black people have figured that out. McCain to me is the same as Kerry 2004 - the ‘Pubs aren’t trying to win. Duncan Hunter is everything that the Conservatives say they want in a President, yet they failed to support him. Sickening....

Must quibble. They will vote Democrat even if a Klansman is on the ticket.

Come to think of it, in West Virginia....

The main reason that McCain is going to be the nominee is that it is “his turn”. Just like Bob Dole. Romney thinks it is going to be “his turn” next.

So sorry for those that are not in the right line. They don’t even seem to know it.

There were two huge things that Duncan Hunter did NOT have, name recognition and credibility. I liked him best also, but he never had those two important things. It’s too bad. He would have been great if he had those two extra qualities.

It is the media that is dictating who will run for President. That is the reason Duncan Hunter didn’t make it. The media didn’t want him and therefore he got no press. Press brings in supporters and money.

No they didn't (fail).

There just aren't that many voters who agreed with Hunter's positions.

The primaries have been very illuminating. "True conservatives" (trucons) are about 15% of the Republican electorate, hence about 5% of the total national Presidential electorate.

That's not numerous enough to have any substantial impact on policy.

Wrong. Duncan Hunter had the charisma and passion of a dead fish.
