Keep in mind that with all the talk of a split among the Republican party, it might end up being the Democrat party being the fractured party. Many Hillary supporters really dislike Obama.

I think you are right. My predictions haven't been very accurate for two years, but I think this one is pretty safe: we will NOT have a Republican in the WH in 2008. It's not in the cards.

If we're not careful, we won't even have a 40-vote minority in the Senate, either. Coleman is trailing, Collins is trailing, the VA seat is trending Dem, and I don't think we have anyone in NM who can hold Dominici's seat.
