I hope more is done to those city council members that are pure scum.

Heh :-)
There was some discussion about how far to reasonably go. We decided to let the military vets and Marine Mom be tough, but not curse - since that can't make it on TV.
So you have the finger-jabbing of Marine Mom Deborah Johns, Korea era-Vet John Bringuel saying "ingrates" and then both Bringuel and Marine Eamon Kelly making our central point: we're making a stand now, to not only condemn you, but to make sure you aren't allowed to set a standard for any other city in America to dare even think of engaging such atrocious conduct.

Eamon was the Marine who had back surgery a few days before the February 12th protest but who nonetheless wouldn't let his mom go alone to the protest.
So he went to the protest in incrutiating pain, supported by a cane, and was there for 12 HOURS STRAIGHT.
He's a fantastic young man and a fine American!

Thanks, Impeach98. Wonderful ad! Berkeley is indeed the armpit of our country. The city’s “leaders” are disgusting.

Nationally on the cable news networks, locally on the broadcast affiliates.
We're raising money with our hat out to our supporters, and trying to get the frequency of the ad runs as high as we can!
Like I said to another FReeper - for us, it's not just about fighting Berkeley, it's about making sure this doesn't spread to other cities!
