That's one perspective.
Some would say that it began when Germany declared on Russia, turning a local conflict into WWI.
Others would say the wheels were set in motion when AH annexed Slavic Bosnia or when they first occupied the territory.
When did the "War of Northern Aggression" or "US Civil War" begin? Did not the Confederate States rise up against a power from the north?
I am pro-Serbian, don’t get me wrong. The Government of Serbia did NOT order the murder of the Archduke. Gavrilo Princip acted alone. AUSTRIA, not Germany made the first move by mobilizing against Serbia. Russia, THEN mobilized in support of Serbia, which in turn obligated Germany to mobilize in support of Austria, (by treaty). Austria was looking for an excuse to attack Serbia, which started the whole ball rolling. I think the blame falls on Austria.
(not Germany)
As for the WBTS, that has different perspectives as well....:)
