100,000 votes nationwide and virtually no impact on the race.

Nader only got 0.3 percent of the national vote as an independent in 2004.

Well, I said I would send him money if he ran. It looks like I'll have to open my wallet.
Now he is trying to explain why he wasn't at fault for President Bush winning in 2000. May he be equally "not at fault" for Obama's loss.

I really want to flummox the electorate.

The Democrats will have plenty of lawyers on hand to keep Nader off the ballot in every state they can.
Make sure you sign his petitions to get on the ballot if you are qualified to do so in your state.

Very interesting. Not unexpected, of course - Nader seems to always run, but having an empty shirt winning most of the recent primaries, having someone reaching out to the extremist elements within the party might do a couple things - either force the Democrats to lurch left (as if they could go further) or act as a steam-vent for those frustrated with an empty shirt and Bill Redux.

Oh, and Ralph will once again be able to pay himself a presidential salary from his campaign - anyone running for Federal office can pay themselves, from campaign funds, an amount equal to the office they are running for. Ralph’s going to have a good year.

He received 483,000 votes in 2004; enough to do serious damage to your party, the Democrats.

Bush beat Gore because Nader got more votes than Buchanan.
