There is no majority anywhere for open borders policies. Trying to pin opposition on the ‘loud people’ or nativists gets your clock cleaned in politics. Independents don’t want to legalize 20, 40 or 60 million illegals. Democrats don’t want to see Social Security destroyed (earlier than it would otherwise implode) for the sake of legalizing alien invaders. Why McCain and Bush support this is unfathomable, which leads to the creation of conspiracy theories to figure it out.

None of the mccanics ever want to address the massive amount of spending that would happen with the passage of McCain/teddy, 60 million uneducated people.
