Truthfully, I was 10 in 1980. So, I was there to hear my dad talk about these people, and see what was happening, but I didn’t understand how great it was until later. My hubby and I just watched a documentary on globalization and got to listen to interviews with Walesa and Thatcher. They showed clips of Reagan that choked me up. It was amazing to see how their ideals literally changed the world. Then, I get sick to see our “republican” politicians and what they have become. Then, I get sicker when I see Thatcher talking and think that Hillary believes she is in the same league... :(
