Another Blankley quote from this editorial:

"Mr. Obama is tapping into a curious alchemy of youthful idealism tempered by Internet edginess. Republicans must communicate their values and policies through that prism — or they will not communicate at all.

""Mr. Obama is tapping into a curious alchemy of youthful idealism tempered by Internet edginess"

And why the youthful optimism? They earn too little to even pay income taxes. Here is the appeal to low wage earners who pay no income taxes:

Barack Obama's Plan

Provide a "Making Work Pay Tax Cut" for America's Working Families

". . . Obama will create a new "Making Work Pay" tax credit of up to $500 per person, or $1,000 per working family. This refundable income tax credit will provide direct relief to American families who face the regressive payroll tax system. It will offset the payroll tax on the first $8,100 of their earnings. . ."

The "payroll tax".

No politician has ever mentioned it in a campaign. I doubt Osama will. But you can bet all those teenie boppers working part time, texting back and forth, and expect to never see Social Security, will vote to be rebated the "hidden tax" everyone pays.
