You are probably thinking of the Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missile (TLAM).
Aegis, or rather the
AEGIS Weapon System MK-7, is the name for an information system designed to protect a fleet (hence it is named after Zeus's shield). Combined with the SPY-1D radar, this allows real-time tracking and targeting of every ship, missile, and plane in a 175 mile radius.
