And today Albania is a staunch ally of the US. So if they can emerge from a nut like Hoxha, there is hope for North Korea once the Kim Il Sung dynasty finally goes to the ash-heap of history.

How could they write and article like this and not include this astonishing creation?

An 105 story shell of a hotel they’ve just abandoned.

"..."They are the faces of the road, and they are chosen for their beauty and their height," a minder explained. "They cheer us up and clarify our minds."..."

I can see that.

A few years ago, there was a State Library in Pyongyang. It had 100,000 books.

All but 6 were about the “Kims.”

A lovely young lady.

It is not only N.K. that does odd things.

In the 1960’s the Feds ran phone lines all over our valley, an area of 18 miles X almost 100 miles.

Not electric, but only phone lines.

At the time, there were maybe a total of 200 people living in the area.

There are still many areas with phones but of course no water or electric.

I’m thinking if all their traffic cops were like that we would have heard about it before now.
