A Bogalusa babysitter is in jail facing murder charges after the baby girl she was watching died.
Amy Thomas is accused of killing little Diana Nelson.
Investigators say Thomas beat the six-week-old baby over the head, singed her with a cigarette lighter, and drugged her with an anti-anxiety prescription medication.

What on earth is Bogalusa?
Words cannot describe my rage at this filth.
Bogalusa is a town in Louisiana.
Other stories state Thompson, the family’s friend, only had her for an hour and a half and had given her to a second person to watch who later called 911. Thompson is said to have confessed.
I’m thinking the woman had to have been on drugs or something. Of course no child’s death makes sense but this is so out there. And if the woman was that violent, why would the parents leave their baby with her so I question their character as well.
Instant death penalty.
Babysitter has a “Britney Spears look” about her.
I couldn’t fathom leaving my 6 week old infant. My son was about 18 months old before I was able to leave him with his grandma for a couple hours. The bond was too strong to want to part with him while he was so young.
It is one of the innate characteristics of our fallen world that there are crimes that can never be adequately punished.
I can be forgiven for wishing that Amy Thomas suffer the tortures of the damned, before she suffers the tortures of the damned.
I'm about ready for the Second Coming.
Release her into the general prison population, and justice will follow, they do not tolerate baby killers./Just Asking - seoul62........

It sounds like a case of psychiatric meds with “adverse side-effects”.

How often do you see 'evil' without the media showing it to you? I can't remember a single time in my entire life.
The media hypes stories like this and ignores the millions of good moms/babysitters.
When Hitler and Stalin were killing millions, brainwashing millions and all of your neighbors started disappearing, that was "evil stalking the planet". The few crazies that the media chooses to worship is not.
I actually believe that evil is always with us. Sometimes good is stalking the planet, sometimes evil is stalking.
Lstely as you state the stories are hyped.
However it breaks my heart and soul to see what crimes are committed against children.
Then the callous ways that MSM deals with reporting same.
My original reply most assuredly would have had me banned from this site and rightly so.
Instead I took time to consider my reply and decided to use the above.
As to how often do you see evil?
I have been unfortunate enough to see evil a couple of times in my life. Enough said.
