It's clear that for either Sen. Barack Obama or Sen. Hillary Clinton to win the Democratic presidential nomination, they'll have to win the majority of superdelegates at the convention. But what if the superdelegates split right down the middle like Democrats across the nation?
Talk of a joint ticket -- Obama-Clinton or Clinton-Obama -- might be an elegant solution to the problem. But what if Clinton wins the popular vote and Obama wins the majority of delegates? What if the next two months of campaigning turns so ugly they can't stand each other? Would either candidate willingly step aside to take the number two spot?
The answer might be for someone else entirely to step into the race at the convention. The most likely candidate would be Al Gore. Most Democrats think he was robbed of the presidency in 2000 by the Supreme Court and could be the only one to unite the party.
Personally I think that THE GORACLE is wise enough that he should play the role of Solomon at the RAT PARTY Convention.
I’ll bring the chain saw...which half of Obama and/or Hillary is most valuable???
Actually Dan Quayle cleaned the floor with Al Gore during the 1992 vice presidential debates, which were only heard on radio, iirc. (I listened on radio.) Even the Boston Globe agreed.
W did pretty well in the debates, and I understand that he is very impressive one-on-one. I think a lot of his problems stem from the circus when the media and Al Gore conspired to undermine faith in the legitimacy of his presidency. I will never forgive Al Gore for Floriduh. He crossed the line with his tactics, undermining the political stability of the country in a way not seen since the Civil War.
He’d have to take a pay cut, for sure...
Then we get to dust off all the MoonBats “Selected Not Elected” signs.
This would be a demotion for the Goracle, Master of The Universe.”
There will be blood in the streets.
Then the Dimorats can cry because there won’t be enough National Guard to quell the riots because they are all in Iraq...My prediction.
No! Not again!! If he loses the media will just subject us to images of Gore fat, unshaven and depressed for the next 6 months.
I don’t care what boogeyman the dems dredge up, I will not be scared into voting for Mccain. And ofcourse you do know Mccain suggested some kind of global warming funding so what’s the difference.
Re: a possible Obama-Clinton ticket. That man would have be dumber than a box of rocks to put his own beating heat between Hillary and the presidency.
Against McCain? He agrees with the Goracle on the fraud of the century...
OHMYGOD, what a HOOT that would be. Gore is about 300 lbs these days.
