Help.. I need the recipe for Shinar Bock Beer someone posted awhile back

Here’s my recipe:

1. Get in the car.
2. Drive to the liquor store.
3. Buy the beer.
4. Drive home.

You can use this recipe to make beer in less than 10 minutes where I live.

I have a Texas shaped iron pepper holder to put on the grill. I found it at HEB a few years ago. You cut off the stem end of the pepper, clean out the inside, stuff with ranch flavored creamcheese, then wrap a half or whole slice of raw bacon around the pepper and cover the opening at the top. Secure with toothpicks (soak in water first) - grill (top up) until bacon is done.... incredibly good

Drive truck to Kroger

Put Shiner in grocery cart

Pay for Shiner at checkout.

For a real kick, visit the original Shiner Brewery in LA Grange, TX. It is actually the ruins of the brewery, but still fun to go through. It is very near Monument Hill in LaGrange, where they had the drawing of the black beans.

If you don't know what that was, try goggling it--far too long a tale to relate here.

I’m one of those cook by the seat of my pants types. I stuff mine with whatever is around the kitchen, but usually use a combination of half shredded jack and half cream cheese as a base. To that I will add everything from corn kernels to green onion, cilantro, lime juice, chorizo, chopped fresh spinach, etc. I just mix it all up, stuff them and grill ‘em! Mango salsa goes well with them too.

Wondered up on that one day with the family actually the back bean drawing wasn’t done there at Monument Hill but those that we executed after drawing the black beans are interred there.

Went to the brewery though.

I actually work about 25 minutes from the brewery in Shiner.(cleanest small town in Texas) at least that is what it says on the welcome sign.

I was wrong more than once (imagine that!). Those are not the ruins of the Shiner brewery in LaGrange--they are the ruins of the Kreische Brewery. Still, they are lots of fun to explore.

I was born just a few miles from LaGrange in the little town of Smithville. I still have relatives there.

I hear Smithville is due another movie very soon.
