Really? That is a very strange combination. Church of Christ, praising Farrakhan, Afrocentric and gay embracing?

No wonder Andrew Sullivan is desperately trying to convince himself Obama is the man!

Seriously though...this is bizarre.

Barack and Michelle Obama and their pastor, Wright, are despicable bigots and hypocrites.

How I wish we had a man like Senator Joe McCarthy around today to send these three into oblivion.

“The true demise of our sovereignty in a nutshell. Feel good has replaced common sense as the number one concern.”

You, my friend, have very succinctly summarized the matter.

Michelle Obama let the mask slip a bit last month when she said: "for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback" as if we were a nation of hopeless people. Hardly.

Now, Barack Obama's long and seemingly close association with the Reverend Jeremiah Wright - who sure sounds like a race hustler - is coming back to haunt him...as it should. The "God bless America? No! God DAMN America!" line forcefully delivered from the pulpit by the heavy-breathing Reverend not only turns most reasonable people's stomachs but once you've cooled off, forces one to ask why Barack Obama would want to even know a hater like Jeremiah Wright, much less be his friend and call Wright his 'spiritual mentor', adding him to his campaign committee (now dropped, of course).

Obama's limp, halfhearted explanation that doesn't explain much but rejects the inflammatory stuff Wright says on the infamous recordings of his 'sermons', won't cut it. Obama is trying to have it both ways. Distancing himself from the vicious, anti-American rhetoric of his longtime pastor while not actually rejecting Wright, who clearly has much influence in the Chicago Black community. A constituency that Obama doesn't want to lose.

I believe this will do what the Clinton campaign couldn't do: derail the Obama Dream Machine. The Audacity of Hope mirage will dissolve as Democrat primary voters reject this kind of outrage and hold Obama responsible, not for what Reverend Wright said, but for embracing a man like Wright who would think and say such offensive things, in a public forum, no less.

Based on his long association with the racist Wrightr, Obama may well hold similar views. If so, he has had the good sense to keep them well-hidden. Now, thanks to the televised rantings of Reverend Wright, the mask of geniality is ripped off and folks can see the hatred and loathing for America a hard-left politician like Barack Obama really harbors. And he seeks the presidency of the United States. I don't think so.

“This is going to be so much fun from here on out to November!”

Only if there is somebody on our side willing to be crucified by the MSM for telling the truth and carrying the fight to the Dems. I’m not sure we have anybody.

“Colmes got the ball rolling yesterday.”

Yeah, but there is a huge difference between someon with whom you have no real association or knowledge endorsinbg you, and being closely associated for 20 years with someone whom you have elevated to a influential role in your campaign. Wright’s rantings have been known by many people for years, even by people who have never been to his “church.” Obambi is so full of sh!t on this issue that he has to give interviews from a Porta-John.

Obama’s Pastor a Lunatic [semi-satire]

Democratic presidential contender Senator Barack Obama’s campaign was dealt a setback when examination of the sermons of the pastor of the church he has been attending for the last 20 years revealed the man to be a raving lunatic.

Samples of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s sermons quoted him urging Blacks to sing “God Damn America,” calling the United States a terrorist nation that brought the 9/11 attacks on itself and alleging that the government was trying to destroy Blacks by giving them drugs and AIDS. Videos of Wright’s rantings have been popping up all over the web.

Obama has tried to deflect criticism by characterizing Wright as akin to a “crazy old uncle who you love despite his imperfections.”

The senator’s insistence that he was unaware of Wright’s bizarre views until just recently has been scoffed at by a spokeswoman for Senator Hillary’s campaign. “He says he’s a regular church-goer,” said Naomi Harridan, co-chair of Clinton’s Pennsylvania campaign. “He’s been listening to this crap for 20 years. He can’t not have known.”

Obama challenged Harridan’s contention by asserting that “like many of my fellow parishioners and, I dare say, many church-goers across America, I’ve slept through the vast majority of the sermons.”

Church of Christ, praising Farrakhan, Afrocentric and gay embracing?

And the Presbyterian church donating money to the defense of Angela Davis in the past, the Episcopal church promoting gays in the past, the Catholic church so politicized to being one of the largest income earners known to man.

Thus my tag line...

What a terrible place to live, huh Michelle?

I can understand Michelle's concerns for her and Obama take in less than the Clinton's do in total.

Life's a B!tch and America is to blame. ; )

I wonder if Pastor Wright has made any comments from the pulpit on gays.

Oh yes....the one area I might have common ground with Reverend Kunta.

Last nite on Anderson Cooper as they were trying to explain away Obama the Beloved with his panel they dared not mention Wright's homo views which compare to your typical Mullah in front of cakeboy Andy. It was typical leftist hoodwink crap trying to believe things as they wish rather than face reality.

Actually, Obama is only 1/16 white. And it’s true. Rev. Wright is even whiter than he is.

Maybe somebody should check into Rev. Wright’s genealogical records, and find out just how much of a snakeoil salesman he is, milking a church full of racist blacks for donations when maybe he isn’t even black himself? Talk about tent evangelists.

That would certainly be rich!

I think you’re right, Obama is finished! Not even the liberal democrats that I argue with every day want an America-hating racist in the White House.

How do you figure? His mother was white, which makes him at least half white.

Rev. Wright doesn't look very dark; that's true. Although, to be fair, he's old enough to have experienced significant discrimination despite his "lightness." Regardless, he's delusional if he doesn't things are a lot better in that regard than they used to be.

And there are a lot of areas in the world where people are still being killed, let alone discriminated against, on the basis of their race and/or ethnicity.

This guy is living 150 years ago! Great strides have been made for the Negroid race in the past 40 years. Wright is wrong! He is inciting racial unrest, as is La Raza. Perilous times we are living in! Hopefully most all people, regardless of race, think more rationally. We are at war, and we must stick together as Americans through what is surely coming.

I agree it would be interesting to find the revs family tree - but the "O" 1/16th white?

As a genealogist, I'm not sure I understand?

His mother was full white, he was raised by her white parents...

In my book, that would make him half and half....?
