The economics department at Chicago and the Graduate School of Business have quite a few conservatives on their faculty.
But remember Obama was a faculty member in their law school.
And also, many of the other departments in arts and science have few if any conservative faculty.
K & E has probably 1000+ lawyers — all over the country — a lot in DC — so it’s not amazing that out of all those people 150K came in (that’s a max from only 75 or so)
I think it’s largely the DC office that is Republican (I’ve heard it typically takes 6-8 people a year from the Harvard Law School Federalist Society alone). I’ll bet people at the other offices, as at most law firms, lean Democratic.
The $156K does not include the $350K paid to Michelle Obamarama for supposedly “working” there. She didn’t. Maybe the dumbazz media couldlook into that. Obama is a FRAUD!
The figures are for 2006.
The Dems jumped on Obama because they knew Clinton could not win; only now has the vetting process on him begun.
