I grew up in Kentucky and there was always some Uncle or another breaking out a Mason Jar full of clear white homemade hooch, at family functions. Only tasted it once...yikes!
My Uncle made pure corn liquor. Open the Mason jar and it smelled as if you were shucking fresh corn. He NEVER cut is Shine as many did, so he got the best price.
