“The workers outside a Home Depot in north San Bernardino say fewer contractors and homeowners have been driving up looking for gardeners, plumbers, painters and carpenters.”

Plumbers? As a plumber I was never aware that I could find a fellow plumber standing there, if I can find journeyman plumbers for $10.00 an hour, I may rethink my policy of not hiring illegals.

If I can buy a used van and put a $10.00 an hour plumber in it, then I could finally make a little money.

A man that can dig a ditch for a sewer line, is not a “plumber”.

There aren’t too many illegals in the plumbing and electrical trades because of the stringent codes and licensing in effect for those two areas of construction.

Carpentry, painting, dry walling, tile work, cleanup and landscaping are easier for using unskilled illegal labor.
