The headline from MIRS, Michigan's Hotline:
Ding-Dong, Do-Over Primary Is Dead "Time of death for the do-over Michigan primary? Call it at about 11 a.m. today."
A Lansing insider IMs to explain the latest development:
The Senate Dems just had a long caucus meeting following their long phone call with the Gang of Four [as Carl Levin and others pushing a re-vote are called], and the result is that no one moved. Votes aren't there. Thus, it will not go to a vote in the Senate. And barring some other last minute miracle that doesn't involve those four, the governor and Hillary traveling to Michigan, it is dead as a doornail.
UPDATE: State Sen. Tupac Hunter, an Obama supporter, confirms the outcome of today's meeting.

Hah! I knew he was still alive! He kept coming out with all those new albums!
Michigan Dems are eating each other alive over this.
They knew the rules in advance.
Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth begin!
First Florida, now Michigan - that should just about finish Hillary.
i thought tupac was supposed to be an ‘original’ name. What’s next? Ludacris the third?
RULES? What do I care for rules? ~ Hillary!
How do I get rid of this thing?
She HAD to have those revotes or the delegates seated. She won’t win the nomination now. Hopefully she will continue to divide the Dem party...
It finishes the Dems altogether. Hillary supporters won’t vote for Obama, as they somehow see the nomination as her divine right, being stolen by this upstart.
And Obama supporters won’t vote for Hillary for the same reason.
She doesn't care much for the truth either, apparently. When asked last year why she left her name on the ballot in Michigan, she said that it didn't matter if her name appeared or not because the delegates would not count, so she didn't bother with the effort to remove her name as the other candidates did.
Today, Hillary told groups of voters in Michigan that she left her name on the ballot specifically because she always believed that their votes should be counted, and the delegates should be seated.
Yup, unless Wright continues to get traction by the MSM (and I don’t think it will, my sense is they won’t cover it anymore after this week by the MSM fawning, not counting fox news) Hillz has at best a 20% chance of winning at this point.
Original Tupac
Original sixpac
au contraire
This will help her if the MI delegates are seated in the convention.
If Hillary has enough superdelegates in her pocket, she just might be able to prevail in a convention vote to seat both the MI and FL delegates.
LOL!
i doubt they will be seated. dean refuses to change the rules, it seems.
how do you post photos?
She’s done. Even Hillary! cannot come back from this...
