Great story. I’m so pleased to see this program getting going for the wounded and their families.
I'll hijack the thread....
Tuesday evening I had the distinct privilege and high honor to conduct an Eagle award presentation for 4 Eagle candidates, two of which were twins.
Typical of our troop they were senior scouts and in high school. Their collective accomplishments were simply amazing. We hike a lot and they had many many miles on their boots. They achieved honors and service in their school and churches that truly set them apart.
With young men like these coming along, we will be in good hands.
Congratulations to your new Eagle Scouts and their leaders, bert! Our troop has a boy getting close to Eagle; my sons and others have been helping with his project this winter.
The best of our young people today are as good as they’ve ever been, or better.
