I hear the ex-gay-Guv of NJ, Jim McGreevey, is studying to become an Episcopal priest. We’ll probably be treated to his view of theology next Easter.
Spong wraps up evil in the cotton wool of concern for people. In putting poeple first he relegates God to last or to irrelelvance and non-exitance. In his unbelief he attacks the fundamentals of Christianity and in doing so removes God from His throne and puts himself firmly in God’s place. He indeed is a wolf in a shepherds clothing.
