Back in 04 I said here on FR that a likely 08 scenario could be McCain/Rice.

While I had long ago disabused myself of that notion becoming a real possibility, it seems to be here with us still.

I don't know how this will play, but I suppose it's better than Lieberman.

If McCain does win, McCain needs to do what Bush failed to do -— bring in a whole new team and clean out the old.

Rice is part of the old. McCain needs to bring in new blood.

Otherwise, a McCain administration will just be more business as usual.

I'm not at all happy with her at state.

I would love though to see the media attempt to make her "whiter" than B. Hussein.

I don't think its going to happen though, McCain's ego couldn't take the fact that Condi got any press at all........this is about John McCain and only John McCain, never lose sight of that.
