Maybe so, but I never understand that stuff. They had books, movies, videos, TV shows, and the zoo. Steve seemed like a money making machine. Two years later and creditors are pounding on the door.

That seems to happen to some folks. I'm always amazed.

... and what happened ... are they saying Steve Irwin of all people didn’t have life insurance? Or maybe he was uninsurable because of his profession? dunno

I don't know what happened, but would guess that he had borrowed a lot of money to grow his empire, and his death killed his primary revenue stream for servicing the debt.

He probably should have had a large life insurance policy to protect his family, but it probably would have been a pretty expensive policy.
