What about the lesbian couple the conspired to create a daughter who’d be deaf at birth (genetic disability)?
I think the first time they tried they had a deaf son and they gave it another try.
PBS did a documentary about them.
15 years ago I read about deaf couples who were aborting babies who wouldn’t be deaf. At least the lesbians didn’t abort the first child for being a boy, which has also happened.
Not much surprises me, except for sick souls like the Deaveses going public and asking for respect and consideration. Maybe moving and changing their name wouldn’t be enough because there sure is a strong family resemblance.
