I know someone who went to China last year. She could not believe how polluted it was.
I now can’t believe that they are going to shut down massive amounts of their economy to mask it. It’s going to be interesting to see how much that costs them.
I suspect there may be an unintended consequence, too: when the Chinese see the results of this, there may be a major backlash against the way their taskmasters are driving them.
