For those too lazy to do a bit research in between postings please pay attention here.
The California state agency, Office of Environmental Health Hazards Assessment, recorded and investigated 643 complaints of symptoms attributed to the Checkmate pheromone use. Over 90% of the complaints had no medical documentation. Since only about 3 oz. were used per acre it was thought possible that symptoms of burning eyes and mild breathing difficulties MIGHT occur but since at any point in time 150-250/1000 Californians will display such symptoms NO connection could be drawn between such nonspecific symptoms and Checkmate spraying.
Better to put out some perfume for the moths than spray more stuff on the fruit, etc.
Do a little research before burying everyone in useless chatter and nut case web sites.

My Conservative credentials are impeccable. I’m probably more Conservative than you. I know I’m more Conservative than the vast majority of people here.

Where do I go to get my “Moths have Mothers” bumpersticker?

Did you just pull that out of a hat, or do you have a link?

Moths are people, too! Don’t spray me, bro!

This photo from an anti-pesticide protest speaks volumes about these peoples' sanity.

What is conservative about being so misinformed that you think pesticides are harmless?
Have you ever read the MSDS on any of them? The listed hazards are numerous, and serious. They are able to kill insects that are estimated by competent biologists to be more than 1000 times as robust as humans.

Do your own research. It’s not that hard. When you do you’ll learn alot along the way and hopefully try to get some facts before offering up trite opinions.

That was research and not a link? OK.

I gotta get me one of those gas masks.

What is conservative about being so misinformed that you think pesticides are harmless? How many college-level science courses have you taken? I have a BA from a major university in a science field.

You never did answer the question as to whether you work for a chemical company or not?
To: ElkGroveDan
Then you should know how to read and understand the info on a MSDS, and see that you are on shaky ground.

Keep this to yourself, (Google “Checkmate Pheromone”).

Yours is the only opinion that counts; everyone else’s is trite. Got it.

You never did answer the question as to whether you work for a chemical company or not? Sweetie your are posting little snippets of your tirade faster than I can keep up with. Of course I don't work for a chemical company. But that wouldn't make a difference if I did. That's how liberals argue, attack the source instead of the argument.
I work in state government.

Tirade? Unlike you, I can hold my own, and don’t have to call out for reinforcements.
To: ElkGroveDan
Well, no wonder you have faith in the government, as I posted up there in #23. You’re a part of it!

"
Just use DDT." Actually, DDT is quite safe, partly because it is effective at very low levels, but also because it has not been found to cause any harm to higher animals, no matter how hard they tried to prove that it did.
