In Republican circles, this could constitute a form of sacrilege.
Speaking on Larry King Live last night, first daughter Jenna Bush, who appeared alongside first lady Laura Bush, confessed that she's not sure if she'll vote for the presumptive Republican nominee for president, Sen. John McCain, and even left open the possibility that she'd support either Sen. Barack Obama or Sen. Hillary Clinton. KING: Do you have a favorite between the two, the two Democrats?

Fair enough as I remain disappointed with both her "Read My Lips" Grandpa and "Mission Accomplished" Old Man.

Who really cares who Jenna Bush votes for? Is she even a celebrity?

John McCain’s daughter voted for Kerry, so turnabout is fair play.

That’s gonna really piss off her future father in law John Hager (former Lt. Gov of VA), who “always supports Republicans.” Way to establish family ties Jenna.

I’m a conservative and I may not support McCain either so I’ll cut her some slack on this one. She never says she is supporting either Dim. Maybe she supports Bob Barr or Alan Keyes or some other candidate.

This, of course, causes us to wonder one thing: Could Jenna Bush and Patti Davis become fast friends? I think this part is a bit of a stretch. Patti Davis was estranged from her parents for lots of reasons, not just politics. Jenna may disagree with her parents politically, but they remain very close.
All that being said, which of us hasn't had to question our support for McCain? I'm only there because I believe he'll be less horrendous than Obama or Clinton.

Who cares? The press is treating this like McCain is Jenna’s dad.
Who knows, maybe she’s as p*d off at the Republican Party as I am and looking for a conservative to vote for

Everybody I know was a Democrat in their twenties. We all got over it, some more quickly than others. Jenna Bush will figure it out.

Lots of us here don't like the idea of voting for John McCain very much either. Perhaps she is just being honest about her trepidation.
Either way, she said nothing definitive so this is a non-story.

Sounds like she just didn’t want to get into political dirt.

What she means is “I might not support McCain,” unless that is she actually meant to say she does not have permission to vote for McCain.

Sorry pal, we don’t serve conservatives in this part of the world. We only cater to nanny statists, globalists, and gun grabbers.
