You sound like you think you know a lot about my sources—while seeming to know little.
naw . . . I wouldn’t have the stomach for it.
I know nothing about you that the NSA hasn't told me about, during our little meeting in which we discussed exactly what we were going to do with you now that you were starting to get a little too close to the truth.
You have been warned.
Warnings only happen once.
LOL.
So sweet.
I have done my duty. The next step, you have chosen with your response. I’m so sorry I’ll have to do this.
LOL.
We all have to do what we have to do.
I’m humbled by your great FREEPER charity.
LOL.
Who do you think make up the Revolutionary Guards? Brazillians? If the US were to bomb Irananian military positions, the Iranian people would do what people everywhere do when their nations are under attack -- support their men and women in uniform.
Remember that while Iran is far from a perfect democracy, the people of Iran elected Achmedinejad and defeated pro-Western reformists. Air strikes would only serve to unite the Iranian people against foreign aggression.
There's a very good reason Achmedinejad always ratchets up tensions with the West as his disastrous domestic policies lose popularity --- it's politically useful for him.
Destroy them, and their equipment, and the people will do much of the rest.
I think your perception of Iran and the current mindset of the "people" differs pretty significantly from my own.
So have the Russians, Saudis, Syrians and Jordanians. So? In the Korean War, 780,000 Chinese People's Liberation Army soldiers "volunteered" to intervene on behalf of North Korea. Yet the United States showed wisdom and restraint and did not escalate the war into Mainland China, despite fighting 3/4 of a million Chinese soldiers up and down the Korean penninsula.
Lots of countries will seek to provoke the United States into war from time to time. It would be exceedingly unwise for the US to bite every time it has the chance.
